Riding
Beyond the adrenaline of racing, UQCC members are partial to social rides of all persuasions — ranging from 30 km coffee rides around the river, to 200 km adventures, or even multi day rides throughout South East Queensland and beyond.
Argenic Racing Team have opened their Wednesday Westlake rides to all UQCC members who would like to tag along. UQCC women’s social rides run on a Friday morning. The ride is no-drop and finishes with coffee in West End.
Bunch rides are typically organised through our dedicated ride planning page, however rides are also posted in the member’s group.
Training
The Club holds regular training sessions run by accredited coaches at no cost to members.
The sessions are for riders of any ability who wish to work on bike handling skills or improve their current level of fitness. The sessions are fairly informal and generally 1 hour in duration — a great way to improve your abilities while meeting other Club members.
A dedicated sprint training session is currently being held on Wednesday evenings at Nundah.
Training notes, locations and times are posted weekly on the members Facebook group.
