Fortnightly Criteriums
Our fortnightly criterium races held at Albert Bishop Park are the bread and butter of our racing calendar. These are generally 50 minutes + 2 laps for A grade, 45 + 2 for B grade, and 40 + 2 for C grade. D grade is typically 30 + 2 with a neutralised period of approximately 15 mins where senior members will offer advice, coaching and direction on racing etiquette, techniques and skills. Uni crits are a great way to get started with racing.
Nothing is at stake but pride and bragging rights. Sometimes a prime (intermediate sprint lap) will be thrown into the mix.
