All riders participating in club events must be club members. There are two basic options: Recreational or racing (elite or masters). The former is allowed to do all club events except competitive races. If you are interested in racing with the club or in other Cycling Queensland events you must choose the full licence options of ‘Elite’ or ‘Masters’. This covers personal accident and public liability insurance for races and training to make sure everything is legit (full details of the insurance can be found on the Cycling Australia website).
New and current members are strongly recommended to sign up on the Cycling Australia website. Payment may be made by credit card, membership is instantaneous (allowing you to race straight away!).
Current members can renew and new members can join at Cycling Australia’s membership website.
PLEASE NOTE: A REQUIREMENT OF RACING WITH UQCC IS THAT YOU VOLUNTEER AT LEAST ONE DAY A YEAR TO HELP OUT THE CLUB, BE IT AT A CLUB, OPEN OR STATE CHAMPIONSHIPS RACE.
Recreational licences are still available.
TO ATTEND CLUB RACING ON A WEEKEND, YOU MUST HAVE A FULL RACE LICENSE.
